Then see my previous reply, where I argue that Winter/Summer is better
for cons, both for promoting new games (previous Winter), and for
getting folks involved in a current IGDC (Summer) or for ramping up for
the next one (next Winter).

If there's only a handful folks that can't participate in one of the
IGDCs because of involvement in two conventions, then I won't be moving
the dates away from Winter/Summer. There seem to be far too many other
arguments against Spring/Fall (see previous several posts and the wiki
discussion).
