First, I point you to http://www.playagaingames.com/games/
zendo_some_rules.
In general, an interesting beginning rule should have only one
quality that is used. An interesting intermediate rule should have
two qualities that are used. And interesting advanced rule relates
two qualities.
Beginner: white koans have one color.
Intermediate: white koans have one color or one size.
Advanced: white koans have as many colors as sizes.
How's that?
