[Fluxx] Attention Play First-ers: Beware of Draw 2 & Use 'Em!

Really, PKH. I'm honestly surprised to hear that. When I got my first deck
of Fluxx many years ago, the first thing I did was read the rules, which
outline a turn flowchart in which drawing comes before playing. But if
you've been playing this way all this time, then by all means continue,
despite what I or anyone else says. Make it your own houserule.
My points are directed to those who were playing Draw-before-Play, but now
want to switch just because "there's nothing in the rules to say you can't."
The simply fact is that the Fluxx cards are not written with the same
infallibility in which other, more serious card games (such as M:tG and
Yugioh) are written. As strange as it sounds, in Yugioh, there is a very
important difference between the meanings of the texts "You cannot Special
Summon this monster except by..." and "You may only Special Summon this
monster by..." That's how tight the rules are, and that's why exploiting the
rules to do unintuitive things is okay in Yugioh. But the rules in Fluxx are
looser, and just because it doesn't say that D2&UE doesn't count toward your
draws, it doesn't mean it doesn't. And it is for that reason that we
shouldn't be asking to change the fundamental rules of Fluxx just because
they're not written with bullet-proof ink.
