As long as you are sending pyramids she should be golden imo.  With a few
sets of pyramids and some inspiration from the Wiki I think just about any
teacher could transform one of the games into something to practice either
specific skills or language skills in particular.

What will be the predominant language spoken in the part of Africa she is
going?  If it turned out to be French (from the colonies) she could probably
find all kinds of games.
